Every time I review a multilevel marketing program I always consider the same three things, product, company, and marketing materials. By using the same three criteria it enables me to make a relatively objective assessment of a MLM program.

I want to focus on the Ardyss brochures available to distributors as marketing materials in this article, so I’m going to be moving very quickly through my analysis of both the product and the company.

Ardyss has tons of products, no doubt, though their strongest product line has to be their body reshaping garments. They also carry skin care products and health supplements; however considering the fierce competition in both of these industries I do not think they are as solid as the garment line.

Ardyss has a catalog that is diverse which is certainly helpful, but two of those product lines are in fiercely competitive industries. A unique product is always preferable, but not essential.

Ardyss has been around for roughly twenty years depending on whether you want to look at their US incorporation date or the founding of the small business that would eventually turn into the company that presently exists. They have been specializing in body reshaping garments since their inception which does give the company a bit of heft.

Most importantly for this article though are the marketing materials Ardyss makes available. They offer a number of brochures for distributors to use both as hard copies and in digital mediums such as .pdf files that can be accessed from a website.

Testimonials are pretty popular because good ones can be so moving, but I do not like them. I have seen too many testimonials that were reused or obviously fabricated, and I am sure I am not the only one. This is why I prefer more informative materials like the Ardyss brochures. When I see a testimonial my inner cynic starts to scream.

Ultimately success in any MLM Business is going to depend on your ability to develop your own effective marketing strategy and materials. The Ardyss brochures are useful, but without understanding the general principles of marketing you will never experience real MLM success, no matter how good the brochures might be. Make certain that you take the time to research these concepts for yourself if you want to try your hand at multilevel marketing.
