How to generate income by selling what you know
June 20th, 2009 by admin

small business accounting software

I create educational videos like the one above (1 hour to make) to teach subjects like accounting and business management to people using my low cost replacement for small business accounting software such as Quickbooks or PeachTree. There is a lot of hype about information marketing and there are unscrupulous marketers all over the internet who will try and take your money in exchange for showing you methods that simply won’t work, here is a method that does. The optimum approach is to focus on creating and selling your own product as all of the income you make will be yours and not have to be shared with others.

Take a closer look at YouTube and you will see that it is incredibly easy to upload a video and make it available for millions of people worldwide to watch and it is here I want to start with showing you how to sell your knowledge. I can deliver my small business accounting software through just about every modal via the internet and guess what the traffic just follows.

The first thing I want to share with you is a technique called storyboarding as it helps to create the essential structure and format for how you will share your knowledge with your audience. The best way to create a plan or storyboard for your video is to use a slide making tool like Microsoft powerpoint or Apple Keynote, if you are familiar with these already then you are off to a great start. As you will see in a moment you can create your storyboard and produce your video without having to spend any money what so ever on even the lowest cost (apart from free of course) and best tools that money (if you had it) can buy to get your video out there making money.

I have tried loads of other tools and experienced a lot of pain doing this and by far the best tool I have used and still use today is TechSmith Camtasia Studio as it will produce videos in YouTube, Podcast, Windows Media Player and Quicktime formats and it has a great library of tutorials which you should watch first (whatever you do, do not download the 30 day trail yet). You have thirty days free use of the Camtasia Studio software once you download the trial and what you don’t want to do is have it lying idle on your machine whilst you finish your storyboard and cut into the time you have to produce and refine your video.

You must now spend some quality time exploring the tools I have just written about and when you have done this you should return to this blog as owner permitting I will publish in depth instructions on how using the small business accounting softwarevideos as the real life example I storyboard a video.
